Tyler Haynes Commons

Tyler Haynes Student Commons is the locus of a variety of student activities and services. The Commons serves as a meeting place for students, faculty, and guests. University Food Services operates The Tyler Grill (formerly the Pier/Drydock) Restaurant, a fast food center, on the first floor of the Commons. The Student Activities Office, located on the second floor, provides support to student organizations; and coordinates programs and services provided within the Commons. Educational programs, co-sponsored by student organizations and offices within the University community, are also held in the building. Photocopying machines are located on the first and second floors, and a 24-hour teller machine is available in the center stairwell of the first floor. A social space on the ground floor of the Commons, The Cellar, provides a lounge atmosphere with a limited menu, music/entertainment, beer and non-alcoholic beverages, and a warm decor.
