You will receive account activation instructions by mail within a few days
of registering for classes
Account activation instructions will include your assigned network identification
(NetID) and password.
Review the Information Services' "New
To Richmond" section for policies, resources, and account activation
details.
Activate
and regularly use your University email account to receive important notices.
You may choose to forward your University email to another email address after
activating your email account.
What happens when you activate your network account?
You will receive email at your University account, including official notices
from the School of Continuing Studies office. You will be able to access
campus computers, including those in the Library and Jepson labs. You will
be able to log into BlackBoard
courses as required by your instructors, and to log into the University
modem pool free of charge. Finally, you will be able to access extensive
library resources from home.
