Discover the history surrounding us. Our history classes cover everything from the lives of Virginia-bred presidents to a trip up the James River. Beyond local history, we offer a number of classes that focus on ancient and modern history.
Many of our history instructors are historians, retired professors or leaders in their fields. Their common link is a passion for the subjects they teach, as many of them have experienced these subjects first-hand during their careers.
Our film courses cover the same breadth, as some focus on Richmond's role in Hollywood history and others tackle film genres based in various places and periods.
