Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Interest Groups
Literary Dreamers
The University of Richmond’s School of Continuing Studies’ Book Club - Literary Dreamers is a group of alumni, students, Osher members, and friends of the University committed to promoting reading through group discussion. Founded in 2001 by dedicated SCS students, the Club encourages continued, life-long learning through reading and exposure to the arts. Our reading materials range from academic non-fiction to literary fiction to popular fiction. Books are selected by the membership at the December business meeting.
The Club meets each month on the 4th Saturday at 10 a.m. in the lake view room of the Heilman Dining Hall September through May. There are no meetings during the summer months. Anyone interested in visiting one of the Club’s meetings may join at any time. Dining Services requires each participant to pay a small fee for an unlimited breakfast and lunch buffet.
To reserve a spot or for more information contact Patty Clark, president, at plcnov04@comcast.net.
