ReadyMinds is the career counseling service dedicated
to the School of Continuing Studies students. With
convenient and confidential career counseling, these
national certified counselors will work with you one-on-one
via online and telephone interaction focusing on your
immediate occupational needs as well as your long

Job Placement Resources.
SCS students within 2 (two) semesters of completing
their degree program may establish an eRecruting
account through the Career Development Center located
on the Ground Floor of Richmond Hall. This provides
access to a wealth of job listings, employer contacts,
and on-campus interviews. SCS has account activation
forms available to create the eRecruiting
account. Students enrolled in the Teacher Licensure
Program may establish an eRecruiting account as part
of their teacher credential file. Exception: Certificate
and post-baccalaureate certificate candidates are
not permitted to establish an eRecruiting
account.

advice located on the Career Development Center’s

The CDC Resource Library, located
in Richmond Hall, Room G-18, is also open for use
during regular business hours, Monday through Friday,
8:30 am – 5 pm. A wide variety of books of books
cover résumé writing, career paths in
various fields, and interviewing skills. Also, please

This course explores adult development and career
topics to help students better understand how to successfully
plan their lives. Please check with your advisor to
determine how this course can fit into your degree
