Mature Minds Thrive at Richmond
There’s a new senior class joining the University of Richmond.
And, if you’re 50 or older with a curious mind and a keen interest
in learning, we’d love for you to be a part of it. The Osher Lifelong
Learning Institute has been established at the University of Richmond
School of Continuing Studies through a grant from the Bernard Osher
Foundation of San Francisco. We are a membership organization that serves
adults ages 50 and older who are seeking opportunities for intellectual
stimulation in a community of lifelong learners.
A University Setting
As an Osher member, you'll choose from an extensive array of courses
inspired by the University’s core curriculum, Exploring Human
Experience. Professors include Osher members and University of Richmond
emeriti faculty who share in-depth knowledge of their subject and a
love for lifelong learning. During classes, you’ll participate
in discussions, enjoy lectures or presentations from the instructors,
and contemplate life’s questions and answers.
