Earn an Online Degree in Emergency Services Management

Undergraduate Degree in Emergency Services Management

Study Online All the Time. Our Emergency Services Management (ESM) degree is offered entirely online. Study at your own pace with students and instructors from all over the world.

Study Part Time or Full Time. Our ESM degree is available to all part-time or full-time students. Our degrees are open to all applicants who meet eligibility requirements.

Preparing You to Manage Emergency Management and Business Continuity. Our ESM degree assists in preparing you to manage public sector emergency management and private sector business continuity programs in the context of events ranging from routine emergencies to catastrophes. We focus on the integration of emergency management, fire, emergency medical services, law enforcement, business continuity, and voluntary agencies in a comprehensive approach to protecting life, property, government and the economy.

Earn Your Undergraduate Degree in ESM

Earn a Bachelor of Applied Studies (BAS) in ESM. The BAS requires 120 undergraduate credit hours, including 30 hours of course work in the ESM major. Students must select one of the three ESM minors, which counts toward General Distribution requirements.

Earn a Minor in Business Continuity. The Business Continuity minor requires 18 undergraduate credit hours and is open to all undergraduate SCS students.

Earn a Minor in Emergency Management. The Emergency Management minor requires 18 undergraduate credit hours and is open to all undergraduate SCS students.

Earn a Minor in Homeland Defense. The Homeland Defense minor requires 18 undergraduate credit hours and is open to all undergraduate SCS students.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree applicants
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Completion of the undergraduate application
    • Submission of original transcripts from high school and college coursework
